U2T for BCG and Regional Development or University to Thumbon for Bio Circular Green Economy Project U2T BCG aims to develop Thailand's sustainable economy based on bio-circular-green related products and services in small region like thumbon (subdistrict). Our faculty involved in organizing the projects in 17 thumbons with at least 34 product development ready to market under the supervision of Professor Pornanong Aramwit, Assistant Professor Narueporn Sutanthavibul and Assistant Professor Jittima Luckanagul. Each project hired newly graduated personnel and unemployed locals in the region for product development plan including product design, planning, idea thinking, marketing and production. The effective and concrete training in the program nurtured entrepreneurship and business skill to emphasize on high-value products with innovative idea. The outcome is to increase local business growth, higher gross income/profit and quality of life in a sustainable way.
