Nan’s herbal value chain enhancement project is on track.
Since October 2021, Mr. Banthoon Lamsam, K Agro-innovate Institute (KAI) and Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences launched Nan’s herbal value chain enhancement project in order to improve herbal product quality, reduce deforestation, and ensure sustainable well-being of Nan’s residents. So far, more than 15-million-baht is invested on 10 research projects involving 15 herbal species. On September 10, 2022, Prof. Dr. Pornanong Aramwit (Dean), Prof. Dr. Pithi Chanvorachoti (Associate Dean for Research Affairs), Asst. Prof. Dr. Jittima Luckanagul (Associate Dean for Global Engagement and International Affairs) revisited Nan province to check on development of cultivation sites. |
