Doctor of Pharmacy Program in Pharmaceutical Care
Program Philosophy
The program aims to be the leading program in the country that meets international standards in developing highly qualified pharmacy graduates who can provide efficient patient care based on pharmaceutical care philosophy. Our mission is to serve the needs of people and society of Thailand.
Job Opportunities
Pharmacists graduating from the Doctor of Pharmacy Program in Pharmaceutical Care can provide pharmaceutical care with high expertise of caring for patient’s medication. The graduates have career opportunities as clinical pharmacists, community pharmacists, marketing pharmacist, and clinical research associate pharmacists (CRA) to work in both public and private sectors such as hospitals, pharmacy/drugstore, provincial public health.
Admission requirements
- Applicants must graduate high school with a major in science program or equivalent and meet the qualifications according to the rules for undergraduate admission of the Office of the Higher Education Commission of Ministry of Education or according to announcements of Chulalongkorn University or the Faculty of Pharmacy Administration Committee.
- Applicants must pass a physical examination and mental health checks to ensure that they are healthy and free from diseases, symptoms, or disabilities that will hinder pharmaceutical practice, such as severe psychiatric problems, visual impairment, and color blindness in both eyes.
Education System
The program is a semester system. Each academic year is divided into two semesters (First and Second semester). Summer sessions may also be provided after the second semester.
Program Duration
This is a 6-year program for high school graduates. The duration of study is at least 12 semesters and not more than 24 semesters.
