Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is moving towards another bright chapter due to the changing of the new administrative management team. Our faculty has progressed steadily for 108 years since its establishment in 1913. Apart from development in education, we are still the core organization in developing the pharmaceutical profession until now. This is due the intellect and dedication of the instructors, students, as well as the graduates over many generations. This is an invaluable treasure that all of us must be proud of. For the next step of our school, I strongly believe that the cooperation, sacrifice and dedication of the staffs, students, and alumni will still uninterruptedly proceed because I believe in the love and faith that we all have for this organization. One of the significant success determinants for academic institutions that I highly recognize is the value of human resources. Also, our faculty is full of competent personnel who are dedicated in developing great pharmacists and great work which are second to none in this country.

I and my team are determined to advance and shape our graduates to be qualified and accepted at the international level. This shall be a strong foundation to develop graduates with strong leadership skills. A new perspective of teaching should be introduced by focusing on troubleshooting, initiative, leadership as well as entrepreneur skills which correlate with the globalized contexts. Our instructors’ research will be supported and encouraged to bring out their potential without any limitations by aiming to excel in research and create innovations that bring real benefits to society. What’s more important is that I hope this place will be home for all of us. It will be clean, safe, modern, and equipped with various facilities as well as an efficient and transparent management system. This also includes welfare and recreation for the highest benefit of all personnel which are among the most important factors to take our faculty to the sustainable success.

I would like to thank all my colleagues that have nominated me as well as the nomination committee and Chulalongkorn University Council for entrusting me to take this honorable opportunity. With the cooperation and potential of all staffs in the faculty, I hope that we will move forward together to accomplish the excellence for the benefit of the university, pharmaceutical profession as well as society and the nation.
